AI Actually

In the near future, amid the rapid growth of the AI industry, the world is ravaged by massive unemployment, political upheaval, and ecological disasters triggered by AI advancements. K runs a humble, eccentric fortune-telling stall under a bridge, offering “AI Physiognomy and Digital Divination” services, living a serene and carefree life.
One night, a tense man in a hospital white coat ducks into his tent—he acts suspiciously, refusing to let K’s AI camera scan his face. During an accidental encounter, Bai recognizes K as the renowned “trash film director” who vanished in Myanmar two years ago.
This revelation, coupled with haunting dream fragments, leaves K deeply confused about his identity and past. He’s even more stunned to find mysterious electronic interfaces implanted in the back of his and Bai’s necks. Bai then unveils a staggering conspiracy: so-called AI tech is a sham—it’s merely low-level biotech exploiting human brains—and he stole key evidence exposing it… Meanwhile, danger closes in.
