The Night Club

In the summer of 2014, five thirteen-year-old girls — Liv, Grace, Parker, Shelby, and Jane — gather for a sleepover at Kimmie Camp’s house. Pressured by her friends, Kimmie asks her mom, Mrs. Camp, to take them to the movies, but she refuses. Bored and disappointed, Kimmie suggests they sneak out her mom’s car; they do — besides Shelby, who’s sick and asleep. Soon after, Jane bails and heads back to Kimmie’s to find she’s locked out. The others joyride through East Memphis TN, struggling to drive and operate the luxury vehicle. They eventually set the car on fire, fight over blame, and face the wrath of Mrs. Camp. The next morning, they reconcile and meet their consequences.
