Sanna, an upcoming DJ, submits herself to a scanning process following the social norm of the megapolis “Ruhrstadt”. Here, it is common to own a so called Projection: A lifelike puppet of another person in order to experience physical connection.
Although elated at first by the feeling of somehow being close to so many people, she soon experiences the drawbacks of this abysmal flux in society. While getting caught in the feud of two siblings opining incompatible views on Projections, she realizes just how much the existence of her replicas challenges her personal freedom.
