A director and an audience were arguing over how to edit a scene of a film. They eventually started discussing broader concepts of what roles should film, or more generally, art play. As they were arguing, they walked into the setting where the previously mentioned film was shot. They experienced a hypothetical traverse into that film’s setting and “role played” the characters inside, using the character’s relationship and actions to mirror what they assert in the argument.
