The Vinespiration Virtual Gallery is an immersive experience that has been created by Stephen Vineburg and Areyes Studio as a project to promote Stephen’s art practice.
Stephen and Areyes believe that immersive storytelling can be a powerful means to better engage with audiences. In this case the engagement is designed to promote thinking about contemporary social issues.
The experience involves travelling through a virtual gallery where the avatar of Stephen guides the viewer through a series of rooms, each with an immersive art experience.
For example, in one room we find ourselves in Times Square, in another room we find ourselves in outer space, in a third room we’re in the desert while in a fourth we find ourselves in a gallery where there’s flooding seawater rising up around us.
