As Ximena prepares for her mother Elena’s birthday, she struggles with the harsh reality of Elena’s deteriorating health. Despite Ximena’s attempts to cancel the celebration, Elena’s old friends arrive from Mexico, determined to fill the night with love and memories.
What follows is a poignant and bittersweet snapshot in time, filled with laughter, tears, and the enduring bonds of friendship. Though an inevitable and difficult farewell looms, it doesn’t prevent them from embracing the present with love and happiness.
