Charlie is a mischievous boy who ignores his dad’s strange warning: never open an umbrella indoors, or he will be cursed. He ignores the warning, opens the umbrella, and notices a scary face inside it.
He was swallowed by the umbrella and transported into a strange new world filled with umbrellas. However, all the umbrellas torture him here. He realizes that closing the umbrella actually kills them and he fights back to close all of them and returns to the reality.
Back to reality, Charlie throws the umbrella away and slams the door, which breaks the mirror and makes the familiar scary face appear.
The curse isn’t over. A new loop has begun.
