On this cultural journey, we embark towards the enigmatic places of the Andean mountain range, guided by the masterful musical work “Misterios del Ande” by the artist Paloma Palomino. Her creation, steeped in ancient roots, serves as a sonic compass to decipher the hidden symbols of the heights.
The second part of the documentary, “Weaving Knowledge” delves into the textile narrative of the Incas: weavings that reveal themselves as veritable codices of wool and color, guardians of ancestral knowledge that encapsulate worldviews, rituals, and collective memories. Through this investigative documentary, we analyze how weavings function as a coded language that transcends time to narrate the living history of a people.
