Matthew is a kind and gentle but at the same time, a physically strong immigrant from Ukraine. Arriving in the USA, he faces the harsh reality that he can’t get a decent job without licenses, good English skills, and the necessary education. He takes a low-paying job, and in his free time, becomes a handyman through a mobile app, starting with small repair tasks.
Matthew dreams of finding place in his new community by helping people with home repairs. Each attempt to solve household repairs lead to numerous comedic situations due to his eccentricity, untamed, precarious energy and lack of repair experience. However, things always end up well in the end, because Matthew has a unique ability – an unconventional outlook. He unknowingly helps the families he visits solve their personal and family problems. By fixing a leaky faucet or a broken shelf, he unintentionally solves problems in families. Without realizing it, he brings peace and harmony to every home.
Matthew, a big and naive kid at heart, never gets discouraged and believes that by doing good for society and making the world around him a little happier, he will one day find his own happiness.
