Kill Me Please

Kill Me Please

Faye is a gaunt girl who spends her days idle and drowning in alcohol. In this world where people routinely restart their lives by committing suicide, she feels fearful and helpless. Yet, due to her cowardice, she is unable to take her own life and restart. One day, Faye receives a call offering her a job to handle a body. Though she is reluctant, her dire financial situation leads her to accept.

Faye arrives at a small, isolated villa on a mountain and is captivated by the cozy interior upon entering. She rummages through the house, eventually finding a bottle of wine and settling to drink alone. Suddenly, an elderly man appears behind her. This is Anthony, the house’s owner and Faye’s client, who was supposed to have already committed suicide. Faye is shocked by Anthony’s appearance. Anthony notices Faye with his wine and uses it as an excuse to request Faye. He tells Faye: Kill Me Please.

Faye feels awkward at his request. She is a “Zero Generation,” meaning she has never committed suicide, let alone taken someone else’s life. On the other hand, Anthony finds himself intrigued by this uneasy girl. He is in his “sixth life.” Curious, Faye asks him about his past lives, and Anthony begins to recount his experiences and various suicides—on the mountain, at home, by the sea, on the road.

After sharing stories from his previous lives, Anthony tells Faye he plans to blow himself up this time, spreading his body parts across the house. He instructs Faye to retrieve the remains and clean up the place carefully. Faye nervously steps outside to wait for Anthony’s suicide. After a long while, she hears nothing. Reentering the house, she finds Anthony lying peacefully in bed, having passed away quietly.
