A depressed, affluent, middle aged Hindu woman accompanies her domineering husband to a Texas cattle ranch. While there she befriends a no nonsense cattle woman who takes the Hindu woman under her wing and teaches her all about cowboy culture. The Hindu woman soon finds purpose on the ranch and in her life. She discovers the meaning of true American grit.
