In a dimly lit room, Xiao Ni is lost in thoughts about love and separation. Her boyfriend, He, suddenly visits, bringing a crystal ball as a Christmas gift. As they watch a movie, a tense atmosphere quietly intensifies. Xiao Ni yearns to affirm their feelings for each other, but she’s troubled by He’s calm questioning. In despair, Xiao Ni pulls out a knife, attempting to kill He and possess him completely. However, He’s true identity and his possessiveness toward her reveal the unique and twisted nature of their love. The story explores the complex relationship between love and death.
