Debbie Pollack has been a theater, film and television actress for nearly 50 years, working with comedy legends like Carol Burnett, Dick Martin, John Ritter, and Bob Newhart. She studied acting and musical theater at Carnegie Mellon University and UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. She has performed professionally in New York City and in prestigious regional theaters across the country where she was discovered by Universal Studios and cast in the iconic 1983 John Hughes film, Sixteen Candles, becoming known as The Sexy American Girlfriend.

Debbie has guest-starred in many Emmy-winning prime time television series, appeared in multiple daytime dramas and a Sundance Grand Jury Award winning film. As a voice actor, Debbie is heard in the English versions of many foreign films on Netflix.

She is grateful to Benjamin Pollack (no, they are not related) for the role in the film Whatever Happened to Jonny Faith.
