The video is centered around a tumultuous piano improvisation I recorded 20 years ago. The music video is psychologically disturbing as seen with its various video clips which express negative emotions and intense forces of nature, and yet there is a beauty to the chaos. As in a ballet, the music is in synchronicity with the dramatic scenes. The title “Breaking Out” was conceived due to the unexpected emotional release I experienced during a recording session.
