You Look So Pretty

You Look So Pretty

Instead of putting on makeup to enhance her appearance, a teenage girl applies products to physicalize her internal battles. Tired of nobody knowing what she faces at home, she wonders how differently she would be treated if others could see her daily struggles. This film explores the idea of mental and invisible illness, proving even people who “look” fine, could be one step away from the edge. (Filmmakers age 15 at the time of completion).
