The Illusion of Moving Images

The Illusion of Moving Images

This film is an experimental documentary deconstructing the illusory nature of cinema.
In this research, we took thousands of still photographs of bodies posed mid-motion and stitched those images together, frame by frame, to create a brand new body movement. We aimed to let it would be the worth of the film. The reason why is that people used to believe this is “the magic of cinema”.
A main purpose of this film is to inspire renewed appreciation for the alchemy of the cinematic medium and to deepen our understanding of its nature once again.
