“Aasmani” is a story of companionship between a car and a 71 year old spunky woman, Smita, who has been driving the car for over 50 years. Today, when both Smita and the car are old and perhaps, losing relevance.. there is a pressure on Smita to sell the car. Despite myriad roadblocks, Smita, partnered by her precocious and sharp-tongued 8-year-old granddaughter, Tiya, make valiant efforts to save Aasmani. Will grandmother and granddaughter be successful in protecting their Aasmani, or be forced to part with her? To find out, start the rusty engine, put on the weathered seatbelt, and embark on a slightly bumpy but breezy ride with “Aasmani.”
