A young woman with early onset Alzheimer’s is pushed by her mother into giving her baby boy up for adoption. Her mind goes in and out of reality. When she’s lucid, she is convinced that she is getting better, contrary to the mental decline of her unfair illness. Two years later, against her mother’s wishes, she persuades a neighbor to take her to see her toddler son one last time before she slips into a total fog.
