Yellow

Yellow

‘Yellow’ is a psychological drama with an experimental twist, following three women and how they’ve negotiated the burden of motherhood on youth with their personal ambitions, their expectations for life, and of each other.

The film follows Toni as she relays the events of one fateful night 14 years ago to her granddaughter Joey. Toni is a drummer, following a dream of youth, and one night after a gig on their way home Toni and Joey’s mother Loretta argue intensely. In the heat of the moment, Toni kicks her out of the vehicle. Later that night she disappears. The revelation of this truth threatens the fragile relationship between Joey and Toni, who are reconnecting after years of estrangement.
