A young blind girl, Lilly, who lost her eyesight in her teens, lives happily with her long-term boyfriend, Max, who is blind by birth. One day, she gets a call from their family ophthalmologist to inform Max that the incurable disease with which Max’s eyes were suffering has a cure now. With newly found technology and surgery, Max might be able to see again, but there is still no cure for Lilly’s eyes. Fearful insecurity takes over Lilly, and she hides this news for a day from Max, scared that Max might eventually leave her if he could see. Finally, she leaves a voice note informing Max about the doctor’s call and leaves him wishing him good luck. Max gets his eyesight back, but the first thing he does after is find Lilly.
