Wang Li and Wang Hui are a mother and daughter who live on the outskirts of the city where economies are undeveloped. After the epidemic of COVID-19, Wang Li was dismissed by her boss. Wang Hui was admitted to university, but her mother was unable to afford the expenses and had no chance to dream of dancing. As a result, the mother and daughter are unable to understand each other due to age, experience, and life reasons, resulting in conflicting relationships. Subsequently, Wang Li jumped into the river and, on the brink of death, began a memoir of life to reconcile with her daughter, which was also her own reconciliation. Fortunately, Wang Li was rescued by Wang Hui and began a new and confused life at sunrise. Finally, the mother and daughter left their hometown and boarded a train, going far away.
