The work is a celebration of the ‘ordinary’ objects and bits and pieces that have accumulated in my studio over time, and an exercise in letting the materials speak for themselves, without intervention. Whilst great care was taken to set up a situation in which the objects can ‘speak’, it took much self control not to edit them into more recognisable musical patterns – to let them be… (!)
