
The documentary show an Italians point of view about the phenomenon of emigration to Australia, through the direct testimonies by protagonists and unpublished historic footage.
In the videos we can see historical public events such as the arrival of the Italian President Saragat and the visit by Queen Elizabeth in 53 at Sidney. Giuseppe Natale was in Sidney, one of the numerous australian people that came to see both that events, with a great enthusiasm.
The main protagonists are: the Australian ambassador to Rome Greg French, some members of the APIA Tigers football staff, Marconi Club, United Association in Australia. Through unpublished historical films, it offers an interesting reflection on the emigration of Italians to Australia.
